With our continued efforts to the commitment of promoting cycling; we at Pedals & Wheels would like to bring to you our first

“Trip to the Mountains” – Manali to Leh.

Yes you read that right!!   It’s a 12 day cycling expedition in the Himalayas!!!

About the trip in brief:

• A total of 10 days of cycling in the wonderful Himalayas.

• Beginning from Manali and would end in Leh.

•         A total cycling distance of 500Kms covering the altitudes of
upto 17,600feet.

•         The Trip would be from Aug 26th 2011 to Sep 6th 2010.

•         Food & Stay would be at our responsibility during the course
of the trip.

•         The best & the most scenic routes would be covered during the course.

•         The trip will be lead by a well experienced tour guide.

.         8-9 days stay will be in tents, Room or tent is 2-3 sharing basis.

.         We will have self kitchen food will be served hot.

.         We will have our own toilet tents.

•          For Safety; we would have a back-up of 2 vehicles along with a WFR (wilderness first responder) not to mention a handy first aid kit.

Day 1- Manali – 1925 meters
Day 2 – Marhi – 3320 Meters
Day 3 – Sisu – 3120 Meters
Day 4 – Jispa – 3200 meters
Day 5 – Zing Zing bar – 4050 Meters
Day 6 – Sarchu – 4253 Meters
Day 7- Whisky nalah – 4740 Meters
Day8 – Pang – 4684 Meters
Day 9 – Debring – 4835 Meters
Day 10 – Upshi – 3571 Meters
Day 11 – Leh – 3505 Meters
Day 12 – Khardhungla pass – 5359 Meters

Note: Because of weather or other reasons if we have extend the trip
for another day the charges will be extra.

Cost of the trip is : Rs. 22,000/-
